Dorrie is one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians that joined our growing team in May of 2023. Dorrie grew up and resides in the Johnstown area with all of her family close by. Dorrie has always been an animal lover. She knew she wanted to work with animals from a very young age when her Grandma would take her along on the family pet's Vet visits! She attended the Veterinary Technician course at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, and also completed her Technician Placement with Island City Animal Hospital soon before graduating!

Dorrie shares her loving home with her Husband Colton and her 3 adorable daughters. To make their home complete, they have the sweetest dog named Lexi and their attention-seeking, but affection cat named Leroy!

Dorrie spends her spare time with her family, going on nature walks and spending time outside. She also enjoys working on home improvements and upgrades with Colton to benefit their daughters - and pets too of course!
