Alyssa was born and raised in the Brockville area and has many childhood memories of being under the careful supervision of Tippy The Wonder Cat. With the guidance of her family, Alyssa enrolled in St Lawrence College in the Veterinary Assistant Program and graduated in August 2009.

Alyssa brought her bright, sunny attitude to our clinic after graduation in 2009. Her favourite part of her job is being part of the healing process for sick pets and giving them comfort while they are in the clinic. She enjoys seeing pets reunited with their families after a stay in the hospital. Her attention to detail ensures that all pets are well cared for.

Alyssa makes her home with her Husband Curtis, a beautiful Black Lab named Dozer, a handsome Husky Mix named Neeka and a rescue cat named Jeb - who fits right in with the dogs. They also share their home with a very spoiled turtle.  Alyssa's smiling face is one of many you will see at Island City Animal Hospital.
